All Portable Appliance Testing - PAT - is carried out by fully
qualified technicians, using the latest electronic PAT testers. All work is carried out in accordance with
the IEE Code of Practice for In-service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment, and fully
documented and recorded test results are supplied.
We have many established clients that we carry out testing for on
a regular basis, ensuring that they are fully complient with the revevant legislation should they receive a
visit from the HSE inspectors. Our goal is to be able to work with you for the long term so we will always
offer you our best possible service, will aim to arrive at the pre-arranged time and will always strive
to offer the best possible value for money.
All testing is carried out so as to allow our clients to carry on
with their daily operations with as little disruption as possible. Obviously we do need to unplug an
appliance before we can carry out the PAT visual inspection and physical test with a
dedicated electronic tester. However we will try to plan as far as possible that items are out of
service for as short a time as possible. When we have finished the testing you will be issued with a
comprehensive record of the tests carried out, the appliance asset ID and the retest dates. We will send out
a reminder about one month before the current PAT testing expires so there is no need for you to ever
forget.
